    Shared credits

On the Business plan, all AI credits are pooled into a single shared balance. Every user on the team draws from the same pool. Credits are consumed by AI tools (image generation, video generation, audio, upscaling, LoRA training, and more) but not by stock downloads.

    Credit allocation

The Business plan provides 45,000 AI credits per user per month (or 540,000 per user per year on annual billing). All credits are pooled, so a team of 5 users on a monthly plan has a shared balance of 225,000 credits per billing cycle.

    Per-user limits

Admins can set a maximum credit cap per user from the team management panel. This prevents any single user from consuming a disproportionate share of the pool. If no cap is set, every user can draw from the full shared balance.

    Credit types and consumption order

There are three types of credits on the Business plan, and they are consumed in a specific order:

    1. Plan credits — your monthly or annual allocation. Used first.
    2. Rollover credits — unused plan credits that carried over from a previous cycle (up to 3 months). Used second.
    3. Extra credits — purchased add-on packs. Valid for up to 3 years. Used last.

This order ensures that credits closest to expiration are always consumed first.

    Rollover

Unused plan credits roll over for up to 3 months. After that, they expire. If you upgrade your plan or switch from monthly to annual billing, any unused credits from your current cycle carry over to the new plan.

    Extra credit packs

If your team runs low on credits, you can purchase extra credit packs at any time from the subscription settings. Extra credits are valid for up to 3 years and are only consumed after plan and rollover credits run out. They require an active subscription. If you cancel, extra credits go on hold until you resubscribe. For more details, see Purchase extra credits.

    Usage reports

The Business plan includes AI credit usage reports that show how many credits your team has consumed over time and a breakdown by user. Reports are downloadable as CSV.

Reports broken down by group or by project are only available on the Enterprise plan.

    Unlimited generations

The Business plan includes Unlimited generations for selected AI tools and models. This means your team can generate content without consuming credits from the shared pool, as long as you stay within the fast-generation threshold.

    How it works

Each user can generate at full speed within a rolling 30-day window. Once the threshold is reached, generation continues without any cap on quantity, but requests move to a relaxed queue that processes at a slower pace. The fast-generation count resets every 30 days from your subscription billing date.

Any user can switch the Unlimited toggle off at any time to go back to credit-based generation, which restores full-speed processing immediately.

    Concurrency

The Business plan allows up to 8 simultaneous fast generations per user. For comparison, the Enterprise plan allows up to 16.

Which tools and models are included

Unlimited generations applies to the AI Image Generator (most models), AI Video Generator (selected models at specific resolutions), AI Assistant, Sketch to Image, and all image editing tools except the Upscaler. Some premium models and higher-resolution outputs are excluded and require credits instead. For the full list of included models and exclusions, see Unlimited generations.

Unlimited generations is intended for human use only. Automation, scraping, credential sharing, or reselling access are not allowed. If unusual activity is detected, Unlimited generations may be temporarily paused while your account is reviewed.

    Spaces and Projects

    Spaces

Spaces are shared creative environments where your team can build AI workflows on a visual canvas. A Space acts as a central hub: team members connect nodes (image generators, video tools, audio tools, text inputs) to create automated or semi-automated creative pipelines.

On the Business plan, all team members can access the same Spaces within the subscription. Admins can manage access and permissions to control who can view or edit each Space. Any AI-generated content created inside a Space draws from the team's shared credit pool. For a full guide on how Spaces work, see the Spaces documentation.

    Collaborative Projects

Projects allow you to create shared workspaces where team members can generate, review, and manage assets together. All members with access can view and contribute, making it easier to review and approve creative content before publishing or downloading.

    Stock content and downloads

The Business plan includes unlimited downloads of premium stock content (photos, vectors, illustrations, icons, videos, PSD files, and more). Downloads do not consume AI credits.

    Usage rules for stock content

Stock content downloaded on the Business plan can be used commercially under the included license. Keep in mind the distinction between main element and secondary element usage:

    • Secondary element — the asset is part of a larger design (a photo in a website layout, a vector in a presentation). This is always allowed.
    • Main element — the asset is the primary focus of the final product (a photo printed on a poster with minimal modification). This requires a Premium license and may have additional restrictions depending on the use case.

The Business plan includes the Merchandise License for applying assets to physical products for commercial sale (apparel, mugs, posters, etc.), with a limit of up to 100,000 units per asset. For full details on what you can and cannot do with downloaded content, see Usage rights and Licenses and attribution.

    Licensing and legal protection

The Business plan includes a commercial AI license that covers all AI-generated content created by your team. You can use, modify, and commercialize your AI outputs according to the terms of your agreement.

The plan also includes basic legal indemnification for AI-generated content. This means Freepik helps cover potential legal claims related to the use of AI-generated assets, as long as the content is used in accordance with the plan's terms and conditions.

For enhanced legal protection and custom terms, see the Enterprise plan.

    SSO

The Business plan includes basic SSO (Single Sign-On), which allows your team members to log in through your company's identity provider instead of managing separate Freepik credentials.

This feature simplifies access management and improves security for teams that already use a centralized identity system. Basic SSO supports standard authentication flows.

For custom SSO configurations (SAML, advanced attribute mapping, multiple identity providers), the Enterprise plan offers Custom SSO with a dedicated setup guide. See Enterprise for details.

    Billing and renewal

    Billing options

The Business plan is available with two billing frequencies:

    • Monthly — pay month to month, with flexibility to cancel at any time.
    • Annual — commit for one year at a lower per-month rate. Your full yearly credit allocation is provided upfront.

    Auto-renewal

All Business subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time, but your team will continue to have access to all plan features until the end of the current billing period.

What happens to credits when you cancel

When your subscription ends, any remaining plan credits and rollover credits expire. If you have purchased extra credit packs, they go on hold and become available again if you resubscribe within their validity period (up to 3 years).

    Frequently asked questions

Can I set different credit limits for different users?

Yes. Admins can set a maximum credit cap per user from the team management panel. This lets you control how credits are distributed across the team without restricting access to tools.

    Do unused credits roll over?

Plan credits roll over for up to 3 months. Extra credit packs are valid for up to 3 years. After those periods, unused credits expire.

What happens if my team runs out of credits mid-cycle?

You can purchase extra credit packs at any time to top up your balance. Alternatively, your team can use Unlimited generations (where available) to continue working without consuming credits.

Can I replace a team member without losing credits?

Yes. Replacing a user does not change the total number of users or affect the credits associated with the account. See Managing your team for step-by-step instructions.

Does the Business plan support the Freepik API?

The Business plan focuses on the Freepik web platform and collaboration features. For API access, see the API article or contact Sales for Enterprise API options.
